The MS-6w is the ideal companion for the audiophile system using a dedicated external amplifier-crossover system! Being neutral in its frequency response the room acts to extend the quality output of the MS-6w. Using a low mass driver in conjunction with our patented LAA (Loudspeaker Acoustic Adapter), the woofer is impedance matched to your room. You can easily integrate with your system using analog or DSP controls. The MS-6P can operate in a horizontal or vertical position.

Gone are the days when the subwoofer was the problem when integrating into a high end audiophile system. The offending resonance and room mode stimulation totally destroy the natural sound stage.

The reproduction of low frequencies should not depend on resonance as is currently the methodology. Large resonant boxes incorporate a time delay in response to input signals. This lack of control allows for the subwoofer to be highly sensitive to room modes and impossible to integrate with your audiophile music system. When paired with a proper crossover-amplifier the MS6w will extend your bass naturally and musically.  Audiophiles need quality bass extension with their home theater as well to  provide realism not boom. The MS6w doesn't require high levels to entertain with bass presence apparent at lower volumes.
